Breast Milk Is The Most Useful Food For Baby

Preparations related to milk secretion during the breastfeeding period in the body starts in the 6th and 7th months. The period of lactation is biologically a continuation of the pregnancy period. In other words, the milk, which is the most suitable food for the baby, is a product of the nutrients it receives. An average of 700-800 ml of milk is released daily from a healthy mother.

Mother Must Be Feed With Meat, Milk And Cereal

The mother’s feeling during breastfeeding, the efficiency of breastfeeding and the 750 calories required for the breastfeeding mother should be taken from the necessary vitamins and minerals in the meat, milk, cereal and fat groups. Daily energy should not fall below 1800 calories.

Regular Protein Should Be Consumed

During the period of pregnancy and lactation, the mother’s regular protein consumption is very important for the development of the baby. Therefore, animal and vegetable origin proteins should be included in the mother’s nutrition program. 

Fish Should Be Consumed 2 Times A Week

The fat content of breast milk varies depending on the diet. However, 25-30 percent of the mother’s daily energy needs to take from the fat. Therefore, it is recommended that mothers consume fish twice a week.

One Cup Of Water After Every Breastfeeding

There is an increase in water metabolism during breastfeeding. Daily amount of water should be at least 3 liters. Therefore, 1 cup of water is recommended for each breastfeeding session.

Keep Away From Gassy Food

2-3 weeks after the birth of the mother and the baby may have gas pains. Cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, leek, celery, artichokes, dried legumes, such as gas-consuming foods need to be taken into consideration.
